Will you help Put Us Out Of Business?
In June 2019 Cure Leukaemia announced its nationwide expansion from January 2020 when the blood cancer charity will invest £3,000,000 over 3 years in 12 blood cancer centres across the UK to form the Trials Acceleration Programme network.
To mark this momentus moment in the charity's history, Cure Leukaemia ran a campaign leading up to the night they made this announcement at the offices of KPMG in Birmingham. The campaign focussed on encouraging the public to help 'Put Us Out Of Business' effectively stating that the charity does not want to exist and we need help to achieve that goal.
The theme of the campaign was based on Mission Impossible except the tagline was changed to 'Mission Possible' and running in conjunction with this and a series of fun videos, special mp3 tapes were sent to high profile individuals in the West Midlands encouraging them to become 'agents' for Cure Leukaemia and accept their mission to put us out of business.
The campaign was a great success and really struck a chord in the West Midlands business community and our Trustee and CEO of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Paul Faulkner, kicked off the video campaign with this film.
A number of major new corporate relationships came out of this campaign for Cure Leukaemia as a result.
