What is she afraid of? Emma’s back to school nightmare

No child should go back to school in fear – but Emma has more reasons than most.

As schools re-opened their doors this September, many parents were packing bags, lunchboxes and sports kits as they got their kids back into the daily routine. But for too many children, going back to school means surviving in a war zone.

Watch now as Emma prepares for her first day back – haunted by the imagination of what war is like for children like her around the world. For kids caught in conflict, war leaves wounds we cannot see.

Made by Unfold Stories for Save the Children International, this film was released across US and European markets as part of their global campaign to STOP THE WAR ON CHILDREN.
