The Sierra Leone Marathon 2018
At Street Child we help children into education in the world's toughest places. Our work in Sierra Leone began in 2008, when it was the poorest nation in the world. The 2014 Ebola-virus epidemic created a new challenge, to which we responded as quickly as possible. Today there are still 121 million school-aged children around the world who are not in education, which we believe is unacceptable.
The marathon in Sierra Leone is more than just a race and is just one way you can help us in our fight for universal education. By doing what you love, running and travelling to beautiful places, you can raise vital funds to support Street Child’s work and ensure that every child gets access to an education. Join us in May 2019 for our 10th anniversary in Sierra Leone!
