The Born Free Generation, Phendulani's Story
The Bishop Simeon Trust was founded 30 years ago to work towards a South Africa where young people were educated and able to lead. Since that time we have continued to adapt to a changed South Africa with many new challenges for children and young people. Phendulani's Story introduces one remarkable young man, the challenges he has faced in his life growing up in modern South Africa and the difference it has made for him to have support from one of the community based Safe Parks we have helped to develop. It also documents his relationship with our colleague, Professor Paul Cooke, from the University of Leeds. An honest account of learning and partnership.
