Caring in Bristol reach out to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, develop the necessary services, evidence base, and public engagement to create permanent change in Bristol, and beyond.
When no other options are available Bristol Nightstop arrange temporary and emergency accommodation for young people facing homelessness – a safe place to stay in the homes of trained individuals through our volunteer host network.
Our hosts offer a warm room to stay in their own home, an evening meal, breakfast, support and compassion. Hosts are recruited, trained, supported and supervised by our Nightstop team.
We wanted a Nightstop video to recruit Hosts that didn't rely on problematic stereotypes about our clients and how they present, and told their stories in a meaningful and personal way - all whilst effectively answering FAQ's we receive from Host applications about the service at the same time.
The video has been really effective for Host recruitment and we are proud to say that every word uttered in the video is a direct quote from a client of ours.
