Knife Crime Is More Than Just A Crime - (Barty's Story) - (Short Documentary) - 2019
This is a documentary about the effects of knife crime and what it does to families and communities around London. It's families like Barty's family that are effected by one of the most difficult scenarios anyone could go through. At the end of March 2019, there were around 47,000 offences involving a knife or sharp object within England and Wales. The percentages are going higher and higher per year and yet there is hardly any awareness or action taken. The objective of this documentary is to make people aware of the effects of knife crime and what it does to communities and to also encourage every single person to take action to stop this decay in our country.
I am proud to have made this documentary with one of the UK's knife crime prevention charities (Product Of A Postcode).
I would like to thank Russell Brown and Tammy Brown for allowing us to share their story about their son Barty.
