Keep Kids Safe in the Home
Accidental injuries are a major health problem throughout the United Kingdom. They are one of the most common causes of death in children over one year of age. Every year they leave many thousands permanently disabled or disfigured. RoSPA is committed to preventing these accidents through increased awareness, improvements in the home environment and greater product safety. Videos can be a great way for families to help recognise the potential everyday hazards in the home for young children. RoSPA has prepared a short film with Powellite C.I.C with real-life scenarios highlighting common accidents involving children under the age of five. It provides basic home safety advice to help prevent falls, poisoning, choking, drowning, burns and scalds.
