If your mate's acting differently, #AskTwice
In our Time to Change October campaign two men, one squirrel and a tree demonstrate how you can be in a mate’s corner by ‘asking twice’.
Why? Because when we’re asked how we are, the usual and expected response is “Fine, thanks”. Our insight shows that asking someone how they are a second time, shows you’re asking for real and willing to hear the response. It’s a very simple action people can remember if they find that they’re worried about a friend, family member or colleague.
Building on the first two bursts of the In Your Corner campaign which raised awareness of the power of being there for a mate experiencing a mental health problem, ‘Ask Twice’ shows how to turn that awareness into a simple but powerful action that can really show a mate you’re there if they need you.
Our October campaign targets adults – particularly men - and features display, social, Out of Home in bars and radio advertising together with a month-long partnership with the JOE Media platform.
A different ‘’Ask Twice’’ film has also been filmed for a campaign targeting young people in November.
