Flufighter: Sam and Helen's Story

Click here to watch the Live Stream at 7pm

Our objective was to create a ground-breaking video that not only had an impact on our primary audience of NHS workers and flu leads but also the wider public who could relate to the story and be encouraged to either have their flu jab if they hadn’t already or to be advocates and champion the flu jab to friends, family or colleagues because of the underlying message of how it can affect everyone especially those closest to you.

In this story, we hear from healthcare worker Sam, who had the flu jab, and her twin sister Helen, who didn't have the flu jab and contracted a serious strain of the flu virus that led to her being hospitalised. We are taken on a journey of the impact this had on both of them and their families, and the varying scenarios that could have happened if Sam hadn't had her flu jab, being a frontline staff member working with vulnerable patients.
