Flip-Side
Flip-Side is a feature-length film conceived by and created for young people. It highlights the importance of making the right choices in life and the possible consequences that can result from youth crime. The film portrays the story of Rory, Zady and John, three young people from different backgrounds, how their paths intertwine, and how their connections lead to certain choices they make.
The story is set and filmed on location in deprived areas of Pembroke and Monkton and surrounding rural and coastal locations in west Wales.
Members of the Tanyard Youth Project and Boatyard Music Studio were directly involved in the many creative processes involved in producing Flip-Side: film-making, script writing, acting, editing, production, photography, audio and composition and performance of the original soundtrack.
Our thanks go to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for funding the making of this film, and to Dyfed Powys Police for supporting and participating in its production.
Please share our film widely with young people in Pembrokeshire and beyond.
