Help us to Build a Brighter Future

Nothing is more critical to Afghanistan’s long-term prospects than education. It helps to open minds, reduce ignorance and provide new opportunities for Afghanistan's younger generation - boys and girls alike.

Afghan Connection (AC) is working to ensure that all children in Takhar Province, Northern Afghanistan, have access to education. These are amongst the most marginalised children on the planet and they want the opportunity to be the bright future for Afghanistan. AC has designed a project in a remote and underserved area where women have never before been educated. The charity builds schools, starts classes in areas with no access to education and trains teachers. We work with the trust and buy-in of local communities where there is little or no help from the outside world. AC aims to use its education model in other areas of Afghanistan to get children into school.

Narrated by world famous author Sir Michael Morpurgo, this film demonstrates the successes and challenges of the project and the determination of the young people we serve. We are making a massive impact but our job is not yet done. Please help us to continue this vital work!
