Dance Beats Cancer
We created the ‘Dance Beats Cancer’ film to raise awareness about the Youth Cancer Trust and to reach and support more young people with cancer.
The film aims to depict some of the journey from cancer diagnosis to recovery with the support of others. It features local and professional performers who have volunteered their time for the project. We have also had lots of support and encouragement from the local community. Filming took place in stunning scenic settings in Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
The Youth Cancer Trust provides support and free holidays in Bournemouth for teenagers and young adults (aged 14 to 30) with cancer, from anywhere in the UK and Ireland. The holidays are a chance for young people to stay in a safe environment and be with others who understand what it’s like to have cancer.
