For this year's AGM, we wanted to showcase our work in a film, to illustrate how the role of a hospice has evolved and how we aim to keep evolving to ensure we can help more people.
The demand on our services is rising rapidly and we are having to think creatively to find new ways of supporting our community. By telling our story in a film, we set out to engage and inform people about those challenges and explain how their fundraising efforts support us in so many ways.
We also wanted the film to help dispel myths about what a hospice is and what it does.
We chose to make it very personal - we featured real staff and real people and it's voiced by our chief executive. Our organisation prides itself on being kind and there for anyone who needs us. It was our intention for anyone who watched the video to feel that.
