10 years of Education, Enrichment and Empowerment
The African Impact Foundation
The African Impact Foundation works to implement long-term, positive change in the lives of individuals, families and communities in Africa. Our commitment to 'Educate, Enrich and Empower' points to our main areas of focus: Education and Enrichment, Health and Nutrition, Empowering Families, The Girl Impact and Conservation. We also pride ourselves on our knowledge of sustainable and responsible development.
Background of Campaign: Looking back over the past 10 years, what African Impact and our Foundation have achieved together brings a very warm feeling the heart. To celebrate the African Impact Foundation’s 10th birthday, African Impact launched a creative social media campaign that aimed to raise awareness around the foundation and help generate USD$10,000 in donations. Throughout November 2018, African Impact’s different Facebook pages shared content generated by our staff, volunteers, and community partners.
The anniversary campaign shone a light on the key impact areas of the African Impact Foundation: education and enrichment; health and nutrition; gender equality; conservation; and empowerment of African communities. This was done by asking our team, volunteers, and audience to share a photograph or video of themselves holding up a sign saying: “I stand for ___ with the African Impact Foundation” and filling in the blank with a chosen impact area.
Aim and objectives of the campaign: African Impact Foundation had two main aims and objectives to raise money and awareness. The primary goal was to raise $10,000 to support our projects on the ground. Throughout the month of November, the Foundation, volunteers, staff and supporters all took a stand for one of our five main pillars. People from all around the world took their stance, pledged to continue to support their pillar and fought for development in Africa.
