Wendy Pearce

Executive Producer and Head of Funder Projects at Media Trust

Wendy has been working in the creative and production industry for over 20 years with a particular passion for producing high quality content for the voluntary sector. After completing a degree in music, film and television Wendy started her career at Media Trust before moving to Red Bee Media for 5 years but, missing the unique work of the Media Trust too much, she returned in 2013. Media Trust, as a charity, works in partnership with the media and creative industry to give charities, marginalised groups and young people a stronger voice.

Wendy has produced hundreds of films including documentaries, educational programmes and shorts. Wendy’s many award-winning films include the documentary about Richmond Park fronted by David Attenborough and ‘Role Models’ which took Gold in its’ category at the 2019 Charity Film Awards.

Wendy has consistently been a champion of under-represented talent, and strives for diversity both in front of and behind the camera. She is currently working with a breadth of directing talent through Media Trust’s flagship #VolunteerFilms programme which produces up to twenty short charity films a year.
