Executive Director, Government Affairs at GE
Craig is responsible for interactions with Government across all of GE’s businesses, including energy, healthcare, oil & gas, aviation and digital. GE UK & Ireland employs 16,000 people at over 30 sites, with an annual turnover of $5bn, making it the third largest industrial company in the country.
Prior to joining GE, Craig was Director of Government Affairs for Alstom, the French multinational. That followed several years working in Government in the Department of Energy & Climate Change, Foreign Office, Treasury and Department for Business.
Craig was private secretary to the Minister for Environment for 3 years and was the UK’s representative at the International Energy Agency in Paris from 2003-6. Most of his government career was focused on international energy, climate and business issues, working with the G20, UN and EU.
Craig has served on several boards and industry organisations, including the Carbon Capture and Storage Association, Renewable UK, Energy Institute and Stakeholder Forum, an NGO which helps developing country representatives to engage at the United Nations.
