Head of Digital at NSPCC
Clive Gardiner is Head of Digital at national charity NSPCC & Childline which protects children from abuse. Clive defines strategy and leads the organisation’s digital transformation. Before NSPCC, Clive worked at RNIB as Group Head of Digital and Content overseeing national reading, audiobook and radio operations and developing new digital propositions to engage young people with visual impairments.
Prior to these two charity roles, Clive worked in entertainment media including roles as Managing Director (x3), Head of Digital (x3), Head of Marketing (x2) and Regional Director (Asia Pacific).
At BMG Music, Clive devised marketing campaigns that won awards and broke all-time sales records. At UK music streaming service We7, Clive delivered the innovative music promotional strategy and cross-media partnerships that attracted 3 million active users and an acquisition by Tesco in 2012.
In 2012 Clive was a winner of the h100 awards as “One of the Top 10 most innovative, interesting and influential people in British Music". With a degree in Film and Television, he has produced many successful music video titles and series working with budgets from a shoestring to millions.
Back in the day Clive was a signed musician, songwriter and producer. He has his own digital consultancy and independent record label - Headstretch.
Clive is a strong champion of diversity, accessibility and inclusivity with a multicultural family. He has an Executive MBA from Henley Business School.
